🥰 Meet little Mimi―one of our latest rescues. Mimi is only 12 weeks old but had a rough start in life. When one of our volunteers found her, Mimi was very malnourished and covered in fleas and ticks. She also suffered from worms and bloody stools. She needed immediate care or she might not have made it.

💊 We took Mimi to the vet where she got a worm treatment. The vet gave her Metronidazole to help with her stools, and NexGard to get rid of parasites. She already has an appointment scheduled to be vaccinated.

☺️ We are so glad this baby is now in good hands. Mimi is staying with a foster family where she is getting all the love and care she needs. The other dogs in the home are teaching her how to be a fully-rounded pup. She is eating and drinking well and has been showing off her silly and playful side. It looks like she enjoys the company of other dogs, people, and young children.

🐶 Mimi isn’t a very vocal dog, but she has started to bark a little when there is a stranger approaching. Overall, she’s cool, calm, and sweet. She will make a great loyal family dog, confident with people and other dogs.

🏡 We are excited for this little charmer to find her forever home! We are taking applications for her now. For more information Mimi, our adoption process, or adoption fees, you can contact our team at carf.adoption@gmail.com.

🙏 If you can’t adopt, but would like to help with Mimi’s medical bills, we are taking donations. Our bills keep rising and so does the amount of dogs needing our help. CARF is run by volunteers and we rely on your generous donations to continue our rescue work. If you can miss the money, please consider helping. Any donation, no matter how small, will help out.
