One thing about Pien: once she knows and trusts you she is all love. Pien is about 2,5 years old. With her shoulder height of 50cm, she is a smaller size sheepdog, which she compensates for with her big heart. Pien has been in our care for well over a year now, but she’s ready to move to her forever home.

Pien, how are you doing?
“I’m good, thank you. When I was first rescued by CARF, they helped me recover from a broken paw. I had a splint for several weeks and, I won’t lie, I destroyed several cones. Although in my defense, that really was a team effort as my furry housemates helped me. My splint was removed last year, and the vet made sure I was also spayed, micro-chipped and vaccinated. I’m healthy and feeling great!”

What do you look for in a human?
“I don’t ask for much, really. Just someone to love, care for, and love me back in return. I guess I might need some time to get used to new people and settle into my new home, but once I’m comfortable around you, I am very loyal. Pinky-paw-swear.”

How can people get in touch with you?
“That’s simple. Just send an email to stichtingcarf@gmail.com, I check this email regularly and my human friends also keep a close eye on incoming mail. I would love to get invited to a meet-and-greet or answer any questions you might have about me.”
