Who remembers Elisa? It’s been a while since we rescued her and she has been in our care for over two years already. Elisa was found with her leg and torso full of bullets (!) at Playa Forti by our friends of Scuba Lodge Dive Center. They were able to bring her back to the Pietermaai District, and our volunteers were then able to rush her to our vet. One of her legs was broken because of being shot at with hail. Life hasn’t always been smooth sailing for Elisa, but she is fully recovered and ready to be adopted.

Elisa was recently taken to our vet for a check-up and blood test. She is doing absolutely great, and loving life. She has been spayed, is up-to-date with vaccinations, and receives her monthly preventives against fleas, ticks and worms. She is also micro-chipped. She gets along well with other dogs. She can come off a bit shy at first, but in no time at all, with treats and patience, she shows her true personality.
