Not sure what to do with Mother’s Day this year? Does your mom/wife/girlfriend/grandma/aunt/sibling love dogs? Consider symbolically adopting a dog in someone else’s name! You will receive a digital certificate of adoption to surprise your loved one with.
Mother’s Day in Curaçao is celebrated and observed on the second Sunday of May each year. In 2020, Mother’s Day will be celebrated on Sunday, May 10th. And although the current pandemic might stop you from celebrating with your mom, it doesn’t have to stop you from surprising her with a special gift!
Of course, you can also surprise your girlfriend, grandmother, aunt, sibling, friend, colleague, or any other person in your life (male or female). With your donation, they will be the guardian angel for one or more of our beloved Curaçao dogs through our virtual adoption program ― for a month or even a full year!

Mother’s Day: 1-Month Virtual Adoption
Donation option: One payment of US$60 / Nafl. 100 / € 50.
You will be contributing to your adopted CARFIE’s food, veterinary care, and tick, flea and heartworm preventives for one month. You will receive a digital Certificate of Adoption. This Virtual Adoption pays for your adopted CARFIE costs for 1-month. You can choose between a selection of your favorite CARFIES.
What’s included:
- Personalized Digital Certificate of Adoption (incl. your dog’s name as well as the name of the adoptant)
- A special mention throughout CARF’s social media channels*
Mother’s Day: 1-Year Virtual Adoption
Donation options: Twelve (12) recurring payments of US$60 / Nafl. 100 / € 50.
Or one (1) total payment of US$720 / Nafl. 1200 / €600.
With this adoption, you will be providing food and care for your favorite CARFIE for 1-year! The adopter will receive a personalized adoption certificate and you will receive several updates and photos throughout the year. You can choose between a selection of your favorite CARFIES. * Whether you would like to be listed on our website and social media or stay anonymous, we respect your decision. If you like to have your company’s name listed, we will be more than happy to do this and include a link as well. Participating in the Virtual Adoption program can be done on an individual basis, or with your company, family, friends or (sports) club.
NOTE: You will be notified in the rare case that your animal passes away or in the wonderful instance that your CARFIE is adopted into a loving home. Adoption program donations are non-refundable.
