Bronco

Time for an update on rescued dog Bronco! Back in July, we introduced you to Bronco. Before he came into our care, Bronco was living on the streets and surviving on food scraps. He did not let us catch him easily and it took our volunteers three attempts before he was finally rescued. When we took Bronco to the vet, we discovered that he had a serious infection and a fracture in his heel that required surgery.

Fast forward to September. Although Bronco is doing better today, he still isn’t able to put too much weight on the affected leg. This will be a long road but we remain hopeful that he will make a full recovery. Overall, Bronco is doing well. He has a healthy appetite, is playful, sleeps well, and has really warmed up to us. He adapted well to his new life, wags his tail non-stop, and became a cuddly pup! He just loves to be pet and he enjoys all the love and the attention he gets.

But Bronco’s medical bills continue to add up; bloodwork, medications, follow-up appointments, etc.
